The Site was down most of today, it appears to be an issue with our host’s server. We are mostly up and running now, however we are still unable to upload images to the blog, so there is no entry for the newest page of Light Years Away, which went up early this morning. And which can be found here: http://www.floodworks.net/webcomics/lightyearsaway/35
Anyway, thanks for sticking with us while we work things out. Everything will be up and running soon, and in the meantime http://www.fatbabycomics.com is located on a different server and running fine.
EDIT: And we’re back and running at full capacity! Thanks Dillon.

Starting today, Adam and I will be updating Fat Baby on Fridays and Sundays. As we get more comfortable producing these webcomics Adam and I are striving to increase all their update schedules as much as we can. We look forward to the day when we no longer have to work full time day jobs and can deliver 7 Fat Baby strips and 5 Light Years Away strips a week. But until then, we’re happy that you’re reading them.

Hello friends. After a brief vacation I have chained Adam back up to his drafting table and refilled his artist pellet supplement dispenser. He is once again producing fine works of sequential art for publication on the internet. Here’s what we’ve done since last update:

The first entry in our Science Fiction Anthology Webcomic: Floodworks Presents concludes today.

We learned a few lessons doing Floodworks Presents as a weekly comic. Mainly that we shouldn’t do so. Creation Science, we’ve found - and for that matter the other Floodworks presents scripts that I have written- need to be read in one session. So we’re going to be doing things a little bit differently from now on. Starting soon, Mondays will no longer have a Floodworks Presents update. Instead we will update a Light Years Away on those days. Adam will still work on drawing Floodworks Presents but we won’t post a page of it until each story is done, at which point we will upload the entire story at one time.
This allows us to move quicker into the meat of Light Years Away and also put forth Floodworks Presents in a format that will maintain the impact that the comics are written to have. The next Floodworks Presents is titled Spacewalk and we are very excited about it. Look for all 8 pages to be on the site soon and in the meantime check back with us for two Light Years Away updates a week. In the near future we also plan on increasing the update schedule of Fat Baby, as well.
Anyway we really hope you enjoyed Creation Science, please feel free to let us know here what you think of it now that it is complete.

Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption
Today is the start of ComICA a three week long comic arts festival in London. ComICA is important to Adam and I because of the launch of Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption at the festival. Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption is an anthology comic featuring stories by over 20 different artists, including Dave Mckean and Bryan Talbot. Not to mention that it also contains a story by Adam and I, the first story we have done together to be published in print. So this is something of a milestone in our careers. I grew up reading Mckean and Talbot, and the fact that our first published tale is alongside their work is truly gratifying.
More information on ComICA in general can be found here.
And a Preview of Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption can be seen here.
If you are attending ComICA please pick up the book and let us know what you think. We are excited to read it and proud of the story within. And if you picked up the book and followed our bio here, please take a moment to check out our site, read some of our ongoing webcomics, and feel free to comment on anything or send us an email at the addresses listed.
