Alright! We’re through book one. Thanks for reading and for putting up with our delays folks. Book 2 will begin soon. I think we are planning on a 10 page update to start her off so Give us a bit to get the pages in and some new aspects of the series designed.  We’re excited. I hope you’re excited too.

Oh and we’re thinking about doing a kickstarter or something to fund a good collected edition of book 1. Sound good? Interested? Let us know.

Alright,  so today begins our first ever LIGHT YEARS A DAY event.  Starting today, we will be posting a page of Light Years Away everyday for a week. 7 days 7 pages.

Now  comes the bit where we ask for something in return.  Adam and I both work full-time day jobs, Adam is a graphic designer for a local alternative weekly and around press time this job demands a lot of hours.  A page of Light Years Away takes Adam about four hours to layout, ink, color, letter and post online.  So Adam is going to be killing himself this week (especially with one of the upcoming pages…) to put these out.

In return, all we ask is that you tell people about us. Telling a friend is great, posting a link is better.  We want more readers guys, we want our hits to soar to new heights, and we think we are worth it. Send out a tweet over twitter, use the #floodworks tag.  Tell your friends about us on facebook, if you post on a forum, let people know about us there. Do whatever you want.

Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption

Today is the start of ComICA a three week long comic arts festival in London. ComICA is important to Adam and I because of the launch of Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption at the festival. Ctl.Alt.Shift Unmasks Corruption is an anthology comic featuring stories by over 20 different artists, including Dave Mckean and Bryan Talbot. Not to mention that it also contains a story by Adam and I, the first story we have done together to be published in print. So this is something of a milestone in our careers.  I grew up reading Mckean and Talbot, and the fact that our first published tale is alongside their work is truly gratifying.
