Alright! We’re through book one. Thanks for reading and for putting up with our delays folks. Book 2 will begin soon. I think we are planning on a 10 page update to start her off so Give us a bit to get the pages in and some new aspects of the series designed.  We’re excited. I hope you’re excited too.

Oh and we’re thinking about doing a kickstarter or something to fund a good collected edition of book 1. Sound good? Interested? Let us know.

We’re very near the end of book one now, and Adam has all the pages complete, save one scene where I may have told him to draw a ton of people…Anyway they will be going up here over the next few days. Once book one is finished we are taking some time to really design some elements for book 2. Light Years Away is a story Adam and I plan on telling for a long time and one of the most important visual elements is introduced early in book 2 so we really want to take the time to get it right. After that we are going to focus on quality pages at a slower, but steady pace.

In the meantime my auto-bio comic is still updating over at www.ethanfallingapart.com and Fat Baby ought to be back shortly as well. Thanks again so much for your understanding during these months where we have been unable to update. We really appreciate it.

Hello. Been awhile, I know.

So, I’ve been keeping a diary comic for awhile, first on post it notes and then on scraps of slightly larger paper and then finally, starting late last May, in a moleskin notebook.  I’ve created a website for my diary comic and uploaded everything in the moleskin so far. My keeping has been infrequent at best and the diary has shifted format several times, from a daily thing, to an even based thing, and now to a more stream of consciousness diary.  Anyway Check it out.

In other news I have a new webcomic coming soon with my little brother doing the art. Adam and I are finishing up some work for a publisher, and then we are going to finish up LYA 1, and put out a bunch of Fat Baby comics while we design for LYA 2. Sorry for the huge delay on these guys, but the truth is we are amateur creators and real life and real bills have been coming first. We are working to change that.

We’re  coming back. Sorry for the delays. Our personal lives, and professional lives have been crazy. We’ll probably have some news for you on some published work here soon. In the meantime Light Years Away  will be back on Saturday.

Whoa. Things have been quiet around here. Let me start by apologizing. This has not been a good way to capitalize on the new readers we gained during our LIGHT YEARS A DAY event. And we really want to apologize to our event contest winners. We haven’t had a chance to send out your prizes yet, it is top priority let me assure you.

Things got a little shaky and hectic for us last month. Middle of June my longtime girlfriend, Olivia, and I split, leaving me in a mad dash to sort my life out and find a new place to live. At the same time Adam’s lease was up so he was also moving.

As it turns out, disentangling the last 5 years of your life from someone else is not easy and I haven’t had a lot of time for comics. But its done now and I am moved in. Adam is in his new place too, but no sooner than he got moved he crashed his bike. Into a thorn patch. Hands first into a thorn patch. Drawing hand mangled. The guy had to perform surgery on himself to get the thorns out. He is just now able to draw without pain again.

So, currently we are gearing up for comic con…tomorrow. Expect full con reports from me. And in the immediate future here’s what you can expect from us:

• Prizes from the Light Years A Day event will be mailed out as soon as we return from the con
• Light Years Away will resume and finish book 1 before summer’s end
• Fat Baby will resume immediately as well.
• We will take a short break to conceptualize some things for book two and then begin publishing.
• Expect announcements on a few new projects soon.
• Expect a site re-design before year’s end.

Exciting stuff. We are so sorry for our absence guys. Sometimes real life gets in the way and flings breakups and thorns and shit at you. You do what you can.
