scanners

Hey Y’all,
Had a scanner lamp go out yesterday, so yesterday’s Light Years Away update will go up tomorrow instead, along with another page.  I found a service center that would sell me a new one on the cheap, so I’ll be up and running again tonight.  In the mean time, here’s a the cover of the printed preview book we’re bringing with us to conventions, starting with next month’s Stumptown in Portland, Oregon.  Hope to see some of you there.

AWWWWWW hell yeah. I won’t be making it to Stumptown but I want this book so hard.

Ohnsman Says:

SWEET COVER!! I really like the detail shown and how, having been following the story, it provides a good example of the art contained.

josh Says:

You should make the book available anywhere via etsy… or your own website, or somewhere. That way Eric and I can get a copies.

Ethan Ede Says:

We went through Ka-blam to print it, so we can make it availible at indie-planet if you guys really want it. This really more of a convention ashcan, that we can leave with publishers and try to use to direct people to this website. Once this first storyline is done Adam and I are going to be printing a trade paper back version, but if you guys have to have this shorter version as well we will enable the indie planet purchase option, once they have the book set to print. Thanks for the kind words dudes.

Adam Rosenlund Says:

Well, if we have any left over after Stumptown, we can just send them to you guys, too. Although half the reason we were going to Stumptown was to hang out with you, Rick. Why aren’t you going?

Eric Schuster Says:

I applied with some friends well ahead of the deadline but got shot down anyway…quite a few people I know were in the same boat ‘ere in the Midwest. Oh well…as Bob Geldoff screamed in the only spoken line in Pink Floyd’s THE WALL: “NEXT TIME, FUCKERS!”

I do know a couple people who will be at Stumptown though and I can always send them off with a crisp Jackson to get a book.

Also Lightyears Away fucking rules…just thought I’d reiterate that.
